The Gerry C. Nichol Scholarship

The Gerry C. Nichol Scholarship is the only named scholarship by the Rubin for Kids board. It was established in the memory of founding board member Judge Gerry C. Nichol. Gerry devoted his life to others through his love of family, friends, the practice of law, and our community. 

As a circuit court judge, revered for his fairness, mediation skill and devotion to law, Gerry invested every deed with a sense of balance and justice, all the while maintaining his sense of humor. He was kind, gentle, bright and loving with too many friends to count, and he touched many lives.

The scholar who receives the Gerry C. Nichol Scholarship exemplifies these qualities of fairness and commitment to family and community.
