Youth Achievement Awards
Rubin for Kids is an organization especially created to fund activities for low-income school-aged children who are succeeding at home, at school and/or in the community.
Anyone can nominate deserving children who have been working towards achieving their goals despite overwhelming obstacles.

In the past we have had nominations from teachers, socialworkers, psychologists, educational assistants, mentors, principals, coaches, counselors, relatives, and neighbors. Awards are made throughout the year based on nominations and administered by the Board of Directors.

Scholarships
Rubin for Kids Scholarships fund students who will be attending an accredited two-year college, technical school, engineering or business school, beauty school or other educational institution or apprenticeship program. While academic achievement will be considered, we are especially looking for students who have made significant contributions in their family, neighborhood, school or community despite poverty, disability or other personal hardship. Though students cannot nominate themselves, teachers, social workers, psychologists, educational assistants, mentors, principals, coaches or other adults who have a relationship with a student are encouraged to submit a nomination.
